New Heyi Machinery have rich experience of Chrome plated piston rod with nearly 20 years, The production is actually directed for over 65-70% to steel CK-45 roughly for Agricultural Cylinders and Low Cost Cylinders. Future action should be taken to develop the remaining 30-35% by adding new Customers who require more High Strength material with tensile yield of 65,000 – 75,000 – 85,000 – 100,000 PSI both Quenched and Tempered and Induction Hardened with high Corrosion resistance for tailor made cylinders.

INDUCTION HARDENED HARDNESS: HRC50-55

INDUCTION HARDENED DEPTH: 1.2-2.5mm

Supply Condition:  Ground  and  chrome plated  

Chrome thickness:   25 +/- 5 micron

Surface roughness:  Ra=0.2 micron and  Rt=2 micro

Tolerances on dia:  ISO f7 on the diameter

Ovality:  Half of the tolerance ISO f7

Straightness:  =0.2MM/M

Chrome plated piston rod surface hardness: 850-1150HV (vickers 100g)

Cohesion: 

No craks,breaking or detaching after thermic shock(warming up at 300 celsius degrees and cooling in water)

Porosity: 

Test according to ISO 1456/1458 and result yaluation according to ISO 4540 rating 8-10

Corrosion Resistance:

Test in natural salt spray according to ASTM B 117-96hours

Results evaluation according to ISO 4540 RATING 7-10

Weldability:

Good ,All certificate related with material heat treatment and plating is required.
